Getting Gas Where You Actually Need It
Most gas line jobs start with something you want to add. A new gas cooktop going into a renovated kitchen, a space heater for the lounge, a continuous flow hot water unit, or a proper connection out to the barbecue on the deck. In every case, the appliance needs a gas line run to it, sized correctly for the job, and none of that is DIY work here in Victoria.
The other common problem is supply. If you've added appliances over the years onto a line that was only ever sized for one or two, you can end up with a burner that won't hold a flame properly or hot water that drops off when the cooktop is running. That's usually an undersized line, and the fix is upsizing the pipework so every appliance gets the gas it needs.
Up here in the hills, plenty of homes are off the mains and run on LPG bottles. That brings its own work: connecting bottles, fitting the right regulators, and running lines from the bottle bank through to the house. It all has to be done to standard, and it all has to be certified.

We install new gas points and outlets, and run lines to cooktops, ovens, heaters, hot water systems, and outdoor barbecues. Whether it's a short run from an existing point or a full length from the meter through to a new appliance location, we plan the route, size the pipe for the load, and install it neatly.
We also handle the jobs that come up on existing systems: upsizing lines when you've added appliances, relocating a line when a kitchen or laundry is being moved, and repairing sections that are leaking or no longer up to standard. For homes running on LPG, we connect bottles, fit and set regulators, and run the line through to the house.
Correct sizing is the part that matters most and the part that's easy to get wrong. A line that's too small starves the appliance. We work out the load, size the pipework to suit it, then pressure test the whole system and issue a compliance certificate on completion so you know it's been done right and it's on the record.

Benjamin was very holistic in his inspection and provided a detailed report after checking the roof. I had a roof leak that was causing the power to trip, and he helped identify the areas that needed fixing. He also clearly identified other areas of concern that could lead to major issues down the track. Very helpful and honest. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to friends and family.
